Poems!

Yeah, so as mentioned yesterday, i would put some poems up. Unfortunately the short story i wanted to put up isn't quite finished yet so you'll just have to hang on a bit longer for that too.
Chapter ten of hero's core is taken even longer than anticipated to write because for me it's hard to explain everything thats going on for it in my head.
Anyway, here are a few poems to keep you happy for a couple more hours ( hopefully!)
Enjoy!

Last Show
Solving puzzles that never fit,
Trying to fight with every hit,
Losing battles that have been won,
Truth shining through when all is done,
Hiding fear they’ll never know,
Through and through it’s one last show.

Calling
Changing pictures on the wall,
Counting the days until my call,
Shades and features start to fade,
Across an ocean people wade,
After turning the girl will fall,
It’s her final day and then she’s called.

Hopeless
Losing faith in all you know,
Getting hurt but won’t let it show,
Hiding in corners around the room,
Blinding fates and impending doom,
Crying behind the fear of others,
People ask about why you bothered.

Ballerina’s
Crazy turnout as we spin around,
Standing on point wearing them crowns,
Tutu’s skirts are flaring out,
Other’s don’t know what it’s all about,
Blisters are bursting on each foot,
Ballet is a girls true roots.

No Air
Breathing like there is no air,
Drowning in a flood of fear,
Keeping in all that they share,
Hurting me as if they care,
Breathing like there is no air,
I fall asleep and disappear.

Heroes
Roaming city streets at night,
Jumping from rooftops at daring heights,
Shooting arrows at villains and cons,
Punishing them for what they did wrong,
Ignoring the pain of real life,
Being stabbed in the gut with a jagged edge knife.

Frozen
Tears are coming down my face,
Blood is pooling at a quickened pace,
The deep cut across her belly,
My legs are slowly turning to jelly,
The adrenalin rush is quickly ending,
Her frozen face forever smiling.

Angels Falling
Angels falling from the sky,
Slowly learning how to cry,
Normally strong she stands alone,
She never cried, she’s forever alone,
Finally someone come into her life
Three years later, she’s his wife.

Lakes
Standing by that frozen lake,
He walks across tempting fate,
Her lips are trembling as he walks away,
They hear a crack he chases safe,
She cries out across the lake
Today was kind thanks to fate.

That be all of it folks. Trying to finish either the chapter or the short story tonight, often switching between the two. Just letting you know the short story is a side story for Becca from Hero's core. Doesn't have anything about being a hero in it so far but there may be little parts mentioning her involvement in the business of being a hero.
See ya soon guys!

Updating time!

Alright guys, just wanted to update you guys on a couple of things. So bare with me for a while so I can explain a few things.
1) This week i started back at school so it's back to weekly updates. Meaning you guys will probably only get one update a week, if I get some spare time you will get two!
2) For the rest of this week and next week I will be really busy at school because we have a dance competition. So I will be posting a few new poems and possibly my finished picture book that i had to do for school! So get excited.
3) Chapter ten of hero's core won't be out until either the starte of August possibly a little later. That means that you will have to live with where I have left it for now.
4) Um, so far only one person is commenting on my stories. Have to say its kinda sad.  :( So please comment or email me anything about the stories, or ideas you may have for them. Even if you find a grammar or spelling mistake please let me know.
5) I might have a competition later on but it depends on how many of you give me feedback on my story.
So, yeah, thats all for now I'll give you a short story and some poems soon!
Bye for now!
